85ft Skyjack for Dromad

Ireland-based general rental company Dromad Hire has taken delivery of an 85ft Skyjack SJ85AJ articulated boom lift. The SJ85AJ, Skyjacks largest, has a 27.9 metre working height, outreach of 17 metres, an up and over height of 10.36 metres with an unrestricted platform capacity of 340kg.

Skyjack Europe sales manager Dean Marks said: “Dromad has always been very proactive when it comes to introducing new innovative machines to its fleet, and this only demonstrates the company’s commitment to deliver the most cutting-edge products to their customer.”

Dromad Hire general manager Ronan Cotter added: “This new boom will provide that extra height and horizontal outreach where a traditional 65ft just won’t extend to. It will be perfect for a lot of our existing customer applications that require extra height and reach for building roof maintenance.”

Established in Dundalk, Dromad has been operating since 1988 and runs a fleet of aerial lifts, telehandlers, excavators, pumps and cleaning equipment.
