Five new Sennebogen cranes

Sennebogen unveiled five new cranes at the company's 65th anniversary celebrations at its head office in Straubing, southern Germany. Included in the launch of 10 new products were two telescopic crawler cranes - the 16 tonne 613E and the 30 tonne 633E - the 50 tonne 1100E crawler, the 70 tonne 670E duty-cycle crawler and the 40 tonne 643E available with either a wheeled or crawler undercarriage.

The 613E - the smallest telescopic crawler crane from Sennebogen - is just 2.53 metres wide and features an 18.8 metre main boom with five metre swingaway extension. Powered by a Tier 4F diesel engine, the crane also features Sennebogen's new elevating Multicab.

Sennebogen 613 crawler crane


The 30 tonne 633E fills the gap between the 613E and the 643E and features a three section 25.2 metre boom, with a 6.5 to 13 metre extension giving a maximum tip height of 38.2 metres. With an overall width of three metres, and and overall length of 10.6 metres it is powered by either Tier 4F Tier or 3a Cummins engines.

633 crawler


The 50 tonne 100E is the smallest lattice boom crawler in the range and has a 52.3 metre boom, a three metre overall width and can work on slopes up to three degrees. Maximum line speed is 125 metres a minute.

1100 crawler


The 670E duty-cycle crane features a 56.9 metre lattice boom and is fitted with either two 16 tonne or 20 tonne heavy-duty winches. Three different engines are available as well as the optional Maxcab which can be inclined by 15 degrees or raised by 2.7 metres.

The new 40 tonne 643E has a 30 metre full power boom and is available with either crawler and wheeled undercarriage. Maximum speed of the all-wheel drive version is 20 kph. The crawler undercarriage can extend from three to 4.5 metres when in use. Power is provided by a Tier 4F diesel.

643 All Terrain


The company has also extended its Straubing plant by 35,000 square metres and has taken two years to complete. Included is a new 6,700 square metre production hall and various storage areas.

Managing director Erich Sennebogen said: "A lot has changed over the past 65 years. It is not just the machines that have kept getting bigger, our portfolio is constantly growing and we always need to be thinking about future developments. At the same time, the economic conditions are changing. Our markets in the material handling and crane sectors have evolved. The business areas have become more diverse and the requirements our customers have with regard to quality products are constantly increasing."
