Unic for UK glazier

UK glazing solutions company Vision Aluminium Systems has taken delivery of a 2.9 tonne Unic URW-295 spider crane and a 320kg MRT4 Quattro glass vacuum lifter.

The URW-295 has an overall width of 600mm allowing it to easily fit through a standard single door frame, making it ideal for reaching challenging areas and internal working. The diesel powered crane has an 8.65 metre five section boom, plus the optional 1.5 metre extension has up to 60 degrees of offset and takes the maximum tip height to 11 metres . The MRT4 vacuum lifter attachment has full 360 degrees continuous rotation and 90 degrees of tilt, and comes with four optional extension arms, so the frame can be adjusted to suit specific project needs.

The crane and vacuum head combo will be used for the installation and manoeuvring of glazing panels, starting with the reglazing of a Lidl supermarket in Grimsby.
