Scaffold tower collapse

Two men were injured in Liverpool, UK on Thursday when a scaffold tower they were using overturned, throwing them to the ground.

The two men may well have been erecting the tower when it went over?

The two had only just erected the tower, or may well have been in the process of erecting it, when it went over. From the photograph it looks as though the stabilisers/outriggers had not been fitted. The falling tower landed on the roof of a parked car which might have cushioned the two men’s fall? They were taken to hospital, one with head and leg injuries and the other with an injured ankle.
