ERS expands north eastwards

US based aerial lift and telehandler wholesale rental company ERS has appointed Jesse Purser as regional territory sales manager.

Purser joins the company from Ashtead’s US operation Sunbelt Rentals, where he has been an outside sales rep for almost nine years, having started with the company in 2008.
Based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area Purser will oversee a move by ERS into Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Eastern Georgia.

ERS was established in 2001 and operates from a base in Huntsville, Alabama offering a range of big booms and telehandlers to other rental companies on a re-rent basis. The fleet includes articulated boom models over 80ft, from JLG and Genie topped by the 150ft JLG 1500AJP, and straight telescopics from 86ft to the 185ft JLG 1850SJ and 180ft Genie SX180. The telehandler fleet includes straight frame models from Genie, JLG and Lull, topped by the 17 metre/4,500kg Genie GTH 1056 and the 13 metre/6,800kg JLG G15-44.
