Böcker to go direct in UK
Aluminium crane, hoist and lift manufacturer Böcker has confirmed that it is to establish a new direct sale distribution operation in the UK headed by ex Kranlyft manager Alan Peck.
As we already had reported Peck has been on 'garden leave' for much of the summer, but we understand that the plans for the launch of the new operation are well progressed.

Böcker appointed Kranlyft UK to handle its aluminium cranes in 2013 and have seen remarkable degree of success since then.
A joint statement from Kranlyft and Böcker said: “Within the last years, the partnership between Böcker and Kranlyft in the UK proved to be very fruitful: The signature Böcker products, trailer and especially truck mounted aluminium cranes, were successfully introduced to the UK market by our distribution and service partner Kranlyft UK. Based on the success story the two partners and these products have written in the UK, Böcker, has decided to expand its sales activity in this market. In the future, a wider range of the specialised, lightweight and powerful aluminium products made in Germany by Böcker will made available for the UK market, in particular the Böcker inclined and furniture lifts. For this reason, Bocker UK Limited has been established in Dudley. Former sales director of Kranlyft, Alan Peck, will take the responsibility of marketing and sales director for Bocker UK.”

“Kranlyft and Böcker have reached a mutual agreement according to which the sale of the whole Böcker product range from cranes to lifts will be handled solely by Boecker UK as of first of October. Customers who have purchased a Böcker crane from Kranlyft UK in the past, can now direct their queries to Boecker UK which will handle all warranties of these sales as of this date. For future sales of Böcker products in the UK, Alan Peck will be the primary contact person for all Böcker products within the UK.”
Kranlyft UK says that it will now focus its efforts on the growing Maeda crane product range with the contact person for sales being Andy Crane.

Delighted to have joined the team at Bocker.
The plans are well advanced for the new premises in Dudley West Midlands and we hope to be operational by year end.
We have demonstration units of the HL30 truck mount and a junior trailer inclined hoists arriving next week for our road show commencing 18th September.
We also have ALP material lifts and personnel lifts arriving very soon and also available for demonstration.
