Kitt joins Almac

Italian tracked scissor lift producer Almac has appointed Malcolm Kitt as its UK sales manager as part of its new strategy to raise its profile in the UK market and sell direct to major accounts. Almac says that with Kitt's help it has already setup six service locations across the UK with a total of 18 fully trained service engineers to provide replacement parts, warranty and after sales service for all Almac products.

Kitt, is a veteran of the UK access industry, having begun his access career with K&F Hydraulic Platforms in 1984. In 2000 he founded the Powerlift company, which at one time built van mounted lifts, and became the UK dealer for EasyLift, Movex and a few other access products. He joined Skyking in 2014 which took over some of the Powerlift distribution activities. He left Skyking last July to work as an independent equipment broker, while maintaining his remaining Powerlift activities.
