ALE expands in the Netherlands

UK internaitonal heavy lift and transport company ALE has formed a partnership with Dutch steel constructor VDS Staalbouw, providing it wiht a large storage yard at the VDS facility in Flushing, south west Netherlands.

ALE will use the yard to store a range of equipment, including self-propelled modular trailers (SPMTs), power packs, steel mats, transport beams and offshore equipment. The facility provides ALE with a presence in the Zeeland area, making it easier to work with local companies.

ALE sales manager Richard Verhoeff said: “Since the start of this year we have been executing operations within this area, handling a lot heavy steel structures and cargo and we wanted to expand our storage resources to better service our clients. This structured partnership shows our expansion and growing commercial offering in the Zeeland region of the Netherlands, whilst further strengthening the relationship and cooperation with VDS.”
