Terex RT 90 for Tecno-Gru

Italian crane rental company Tecno-Gru has taken delivery of an 86 tonne Terex RT 90 Rough Terrain crane.

The RT 90 features a five section 47 metre main boom and a 17 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 32 degrees of offset. It also features the Demag IC-1 control system, which provides an optimum capacity for the actual outrigger configuration and slew point selected.

Sales manager Andrea Pavoni said: “We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the best quality equipment at competitive prices. The RT 90 Rough Terrain crane certainly delivers on those two points. Also, the crane’s narrow profile will make it easier to transport on Italy's roadways — something I know our local customers will appreciate. We’re confident that there will be a significant demand for this machine when contractors see what it can do.”

Terex president Steve Filipov added: “Tecno Gru is doing an excellent job of representing the Terex and Demag brands and products. Focused on the needs of the customers, Tecno-Gru proactively adds inventory to its sales and rental fleet so it’s there when their customers need it. They also do a wonderful job of training contractors and providing service after the sale. I’m happy to call them a partner.”

Tecno-Gru was established in 1995 and is headquartered in Castiglione delle Stiviere in the north of the country. The company also buys, refurbishes and sells used All Terrain cranes from Liebherr, Grove and Locatelli among others.
