New Ruthmann for Castell

German access rental company Castell has taken delivery of a 25 metre Ruthmann TBR 250 truck mounted platform.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the TBR 250 provides a maximum outreach of 16.5 metres with a reduced capacity of 100kg, maximum platform capacity is 230kg and is available for an outreach of up to 12 metres. The long articulated jib has 185 degrees of articulation.

Managing director Timo Castell said: "The demand for 3.5 tonne truck mounted platforms with articulated jibs is becoming more and more frequent. We think that with the TBR 250 is another great product for our customers. We have also equipped it with a 220 volt power system, so that the engine can be turned off and the machine operated with clean, quiet electricity."

Based in the Metternich area of Koblenzin central Germany, Castell offers a range of aerial lifts as well as scaffold towers and general construction equipment.
