Snorkel scissors for Elavation

UK rental company Elavation has taken delivery of two 39ft Snorkel S3970BE bi-energy Rough Terrain scissor lifts.

The S3970BE has a platform capacity of 350kg and a working height of 13.9 metres. It has an overall width of 1.8 metres and includes a 1.2 metre deck extension. This latest order follows a previous order for six 12ft Snorkel TM12 mast type lifts placed last year.

(L-R) Barry Brady of Elavation, Linda Betts of Snorkel UK and Mani Gonzalez of Elavation

Elavation director Mani Gonzalez said: “The versatility of the true bi-energy functions on the Snorkel S3970BE scissor lift made it a ‘must have’ for our fleet. We are really getting four machines in one. The self-levelling outriggers, long battery life, white non-marking tyres, capacity to drive at full height, plus a fantastic diesel drive train and ultra low emissions when on battery power, means that we have a machine that we can offer to all trades.”

“The ethos that Barry and I have been promoting in recent times means that we have highly utilised, multi-function lifts at the highest specification. As such, the Snorkel S3970BE is a perfect fit for our fleet. This enables us to target a wider range of customers across the region with new work at height solutions. We have had a great year so far, and are looking forward to building upon this in 2018.”
