Camso acquires Omni Industrial Tire in Texas

Off-road wheel, tyre and track manufacturer Camso - formerly Camoplast Solideal - has acquired Omni Industrial Tire extending its distribution and tyre service coverage in southern Texas. Omni Industrial is the second largest tyre specialist in Texas with four locations.

Bob Bulger, general manager, Solideal On-Site Service said: “The acquisition of Omni Industrial Tire will enable Camso to further penetrate the Texas market and consolidate its leadership position in this region.”

Camso designs, manufactures and distributes off-road tires, wheels, rubber tracks and undercarriage systems with facilities in North and South America, Europe and Asia. It supplies its products to manufacturers under the brands Camso and Solideal.
