Telematics manager for JLG Europe

JLG has appointed Jacques Valckenaere as telematics manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, reporting to director for customer care Jean-Francois Sourdoire.

For the past eight years Valckenaere has run his own business Boracay Management Services, prior to that he was OEM partnership manager at fleet management systems supplier M-Tec Benelux/Trackunit, which has grown into a major supplier of tracking and telematics systems to the access and telehandler industries.

Earlier on in his career he also worked with ABB, Econocom Managed Services and Guardsystems A native Flemish speaker, he is also fluent in French, English and German.

Jean-François Sourdoire said: "We are excited to have Jacques joining the JlG Customer Care team.
