Mark Sichi 1955-2017

We have received the sad news that Mark Sichi, vice president of product development of Xtreme Manufacturing died suddenly last Saturday.

His sudden and unexpected death last Saturday came shortly after he had completed a workout at the gym, he was only 61. He leaves behind wife Cathy, a daughter - Hayley, twin sons - Ryan and Cory, and five grandchildren.

He trained as a heavy equipment mechanic, establishing his own business - High Trak Equipment – in 1991 which he sold in 1998, joining United Equipment as a sales manager. Six years later he joined Xtreme initially in a sales and development role, later moving into the product development job. He also conducted training sessions at the Academy for employees across the Ahern group

A statement from the company said: “Mark was well known for his product training rodeo’s, where he would make sure that all trainees got to experience the equipment hands-on. He touched the lives of many people in our family of companies, as well as in the entire industry. He will be remembered as kind, charismatic and optimistic, and always willing to mentor and support others to deliver the best results possible. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.”

A funeral mass will take place at noon today - Saturday 1st July - at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati, California. It will be followed by a burial and a reception at his home.
