40 Hiab cranes for Japan

Japanese trading company FutureBud International has ordered 40 Hiab loader cranea in a deal worth around €2 million.

The cranes - installed on Japanese Fuso truck chassis - will be used on a United Nations related project to assist developing countries.

The cranes - all manually controlled Hiab XS 088 CLX - have a lifting capacity of 8.2 tonne metres and will be delivered to Tanzania by the end of this year. Hiab expanded its business in Japan in 1973 and has specialised in loader cranes as well as forestry cranes, demountable systems and tail lifts.
The company claims market leadership for waste, scrap handling and forestry markets in Japan.

Toshiya Suzuki, director Hiab Japan said: Cargotec Japan, as a locally incorporated company representing Hiab, received this order for the 40 cranes from FutureBud International in collaboration with Japanese truck manufacturer Fuso (Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation). We are very happy to contribute to this United Nations project to assist developing countries in Africa.”
