Five Demags for Kuwait

Kuwait rental and transportation company Jassim Transport & Stevedoring has ordered five Demag All Terrain cranes, a 250 tonne AC 250-6 and four 100 tonne AC 100-4Ls.

The six axle AC 250-6 features an 80 metre main boom plus a 10.4 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which can extended to 36 metres with two inserts. The four axle AC 100-4L has a maximum boom length of 59.4 metres and a 10 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of 81.7 metres. They will join Jassim’s fleet which already includes around 20 Terex and Demag cranes.

The updated Demag AC100-4L

Jassim chief executive Adel Kohari said: “The Demag AC 100-4L crane is extremely versatile, which means we can accomplish more lifts in less time than with similar sized units.
