New 95 tonne AT for training centre

The I.U.O.E. Local 150 training centre in Wilmington, Illinois has taken delivery of a new Liebherr LTM 1095 5.1 All Terrain crane.

The new crane joins the 23 other cranes in the Local 150 Apprenticeship and Skill Improvement Program fleet, which includes, tower cranes, Rough Terrains, truck cranes and crawler cranes. The new five axle crane includes a 58 metre six section main boom, plus a 10.5 to 26 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, with a maximum tip height of 86 metres. Total counterweight is 23 tonnes.

Local 150's new Liebherr LTM 1095-5.1

Local 150 president-business manager James Sweeney said: “A crane like this is a rare find at a Training Centre. At Local 150, we stop at nothing to prepare our members for what they will find on the job. We take seriously our responsibility to train the most capable operating engineers that contractors and customers can find.”
