90t Kobelco to New Zealand

New Zealand rental company Map Hire has taken delivery of a new 90 tonne Kobelco CKE900G-2 crawler crane.

The CKE900G-2 handles its maximum capacity at 3.9 metres, and features a Stage IV/Tier 4 Final engine with Diesel Particulate Filters and Selective Catalytic Reduction for reduced nitrogen oxide levels. The crane arrived at Marsden Point last week and was assembled and commissioned by local distributor ACM Engineering, including complete operator familiarisation and New Zealand design certification. The unit then went straight to work this week on a project for Hills Contracting.
