Hinowas for Wilson

UK rental company Wilson Access has taken delivery of two new 17 metre Hinowa 17.75 Lightlift spider lifts.

The 17.75 offers up to 7.5 metres of outreach with a platform capacity of 230kg, a stowed width of less than 800mm and an overall height of under two metres, allowing it to pass through most standard doorways. The two lifts went straight to work with to glazing system specialists Glassolutions to install glass panels on the façade of Project Angel, a £53 million public sector office development in Northampton.

Hinowa 17.75 Lightlift at Project Angel

Glassolutions site manager Ryan Crawford said: “The spider lifts were ideal as their rubber tracks and spreader pads ensured that they did not damage the external granite paving. Their working height of 17 metres gave our four man team easy access to all areas of the building’s facade to install 78 glazed panels. Some areas were particularly tricky to reach due to a three metre metal canopy.”
