Kenyan crane order for Isoli

Italian truck mounted lift and recovery vehicle specialist Isoli has won a substantial order from the Kenyan army its 12 tonne M120 and M60 truck mounted military cranes.

The 120 features a two section 6.8 metre boom and can handle up to four tonnes on wheels, when the axles are locked. The contract also includes a number of the company’s smaller M60 cranes which will be supplied in kit form for local assembly. The cranes are earmarked for UN missions in the region.

Regional export sales manager Giorgio Caberlotto said: "I am really happy about this order and the fact that all our efforts in sub Saharan Africa are now beginning to pay off. Our plan for the next few years is to increase our presence in this area though our crane sales, with platforms coming in as we progress".
