Two LHM 800s for UAE

Saqr Port Authority in the United Arab Emirates - part of the RAK Ports group - has ordered two 144 tonne Liebherr LHM 800 mobile harbour cranes.

The cranes have been configured for bulk handling, and feature a 54 metre boom, when installed they will be the biggest mobile harbour cranes for bulk operation in the Middle East and the first bulk handling configured cranes delivered by Liebherr. Both are equipped with Liebherr’s Pactronic system, with regenerative power fed back in from lowering the load and stored for use when the crane requires peak power during hoisting. Both cranes will be delivered in spring 2018.
