Skyjack and Nationwide Skylift team up

Skyjack has appointed sales and rental company Nationwide Skylift (Malaysia) as its dealer in Malaysia for both its aerial lift and telehandler product lines.

Nationwide Skylift is based in Klang, on the south west side of Kuala Lumpur and runs fleet of truck-mounted and self-propelled boom lifts with working heights ranging from 34 to one of the few existing 100 metres Ruthmann TTS1000 truck (trailer) mounted lifts ever built. Its fleet is now made up of JLG and Skyjack with its largest boom being the 185ft JLG 1850SJ. The company also has a crane division – Trans Machinery which operates a fleet of Rough Terrain, truck, and crawler cranes.

Managing director Chew Cheong Tat said: “This new partnership will allow us to strengthen our position by being able to promote a simple and reliable range of products that are well suited to the growth of self-propelled access equipment in Malaysia. We have always been impressed with Skyjack scissor lifts and are excited with the differentiation in the Skyjack booms and have recently strengthened our sales and marketing efforts with the appointment of Billy Ching as sales and marketing manager.”

Skyjack Asia business development director Simon Cracknell added: “We are delighted to partner with a company with such experience in the market, and I am pleased to see them invest in Skyjack boom lifts for their rental fleet. Our reputation is growing in the region for boom lifts building on the success of our Skyjack scissor lifts.”
