Another big platform truck mount

Italian manufacturer Co.Me.t will also show a big platform truck mounted lift at Apex next week with its Solar model, joining the Multitel MS100 we reported on yesterday.

The Co.Me.T Solar

The Solar has been in production for some time, with two versions available with working heights of 11 and 15 metres,, both available on 3.5 or five tonne chassis. Unlike the new Multitel the Solar features a heavy jib as well as the two section telescopic boom, along with platform rotation, allowing a much higher degree of outreach beyond the chassis.

The Solar has considerable versatility in terms of platform placement

The platform on the Comet is 3.5 metres long and slightly wider than the Multitel a two metres with the same unrestricted 400 kg platform capacity. It also slows at lower height than the Multitel for road travel.

So if the idea of a scissor lift sized platform on a boom on a truck then next week is a prime opportunity to learn more.
