Three Liebherrs for King

UK crane rental company King Lifting has taken delivery of two new Liebherr All Terrain cranes, a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 and a 130 tonne LTM 1130-5.1, with an LTM 1130-5.1 to come.

The three axle LTM 1060-3.1 features a five section 48 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a maximum tip height of 67 metres and a maximum radius of 48 metres. The new units join 10 cranes of the same model already in the King Lifting fleet.

LTM 1060-3.1

The five axle LTM 1130-5.1 which will be delivered later in the year, features a 60 metre main boom plus a 33 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, and is the company’s second crane of this model in its fleet. The new cranes are equipped with Liebherr's VarioBase outrigger set-up system. The company also has a third 500 tonne LTM 1500-8.1 on order.

LTM 1130-5.1

Commercial director Tristan King said: "Continued growth for King Lifting, especially in the heavy crane sector, not only means that we need auxiliary assembly cranes to support our fleet but also brings with it opportunities for further business with clients in that sector. This is our second Liebherr LTM 1130-5.1 and with its proven versatility it fits perfectly into our existing fleet.
