Four Genies for Baker

UK based Baker Plant Hire has taken delivery of two 45ft Genie Z-45/25JRT Rough Terrain articulated booms and two 26ft GS-2632 electric scissor lifts.

The Genie Z-45/25JRT provides a working height of 16.5 metres, an outreach of 7.62 metres and an up and over clearance of 7.1 metres with a platform capacity of 227kg. The 26ft GS-2632 battery electric slab scissor lift is 830mm wide and offers a 227kg platform capacity.

Baker's two new Z-45/25RTJ booms

Hire manager Paul Layton said: “We have recently purchased another package of equipment from Workplatform’s Tony Campana, two new Z45/25J RT 4x4s that went straight out to an electrical contractor in Barnsley and a couple of GS-2632s, which went to a food factory in Scunthorpe. We haven’t seen the Z-45s since and don’t expect to for a while yet, it’s such a useful piece of kit and invaluable to the electrical contractors that are using them. If you are in the hire industry you need Genie Z-45s in your fleet, lots of them!”
