New VP engineering for JLG

JLG has appointed Guru Bandekar vice president of engineering reporting directly to president Frank Nerenhausen, and Rob Messina, senior vice president of engineering and technology at Oshkosh.

Educated in both India and the USA Bandekar previously worked for JLG parent Oshkosh, qwhich he joined in January 2008 as finance controller and a business development role in the company’s commercial segment. He then moved on supply chain management and then engineering before moving over to JLG in 2012 as vice president of global procurement and supply chain.

Nerenhausen said: “I am thrilled to announce this new assignment for Guru and am confident he will lead his team in continuing to expand the innovative leadership and pioneering spirit at JLG. Guru brings to his position a unique blend of engineering and financial experiences and a proven track record at Oshkosh and JLG that will serve the company well as he assumes this important leadership role.”
