Dock crane collapse
The boom of a dockside crane collapsed at the port of Ashdod, Israel on Sunday evening, dropping onto the deck of the ship it was loading or unloading.

The boom dropped onto the deck of the ship
Thankfully no one was hurt in the incident, the photo that we have received clearly shows that the fixed length tubular steel boom simply sheared off and dropped onto the deck of the boat, one assumes along with the load it was lifting or lowering.
Ashdod is a cargo port located around 25 miles south of Tel Aviv.
