Nifty HR28 for France

French wholesale rental company Hi Rent has taken delivery of the first 86ft Niftylift HR28 Hybrid in France.

The new machine, which went straight to work in the Paris area is a full specification Hybrid 4x4 model, with 19 metres of outreach, a working height of 28 metres and a 280kg unrestricted platform capacity, and yet weighs under 15 tonnes.

High Rent is based in Tonneins, South West France and has recently been investing in specialist aerial lift models. Late last year it took two of the first 150ft Genie SX150s to arrive in France and also added a 35 metre Magni RTH 5.35S bi-energy 360 degree telescopic handler. It also runs spider lifts, spider cranes and more regular aerial work platforms and rents its equipment to rental companies only.

The Nifty HR28 Hybrid is the only platform to really innovate in this category.”

Niftylift representative Fredric Allier of Nacelexpert added: "The popularity of hybrid machines like this is growing and while their take up in France might take a while, the financial and environmental features benefits is beginning to convince more and more companies and end users . Our European neighbours have been aware of the benefits for a number of years and Niftylift has a wealth of experience in this technology having first introduced hybrid type machines in 2009."
