Goldhofer splits

German trailer manufacturer Goldhofer has split its business into two segments - Airport Technology and Transport Technology, reflecting the different demands and customer requirements in the two sectors.

As part of this move it has appointed Lothar Holder as main board director for the Airport Technology division, which will include Schopf Maschinenbau and Goldhofer Towbarless tugs and baggage tractors. Holder is currently chief executive of Schopf. He was previously managing director of the Schulz group since 2013, and before that he was chief executive of the Setra division at EvoBus for three years.
