New GM for Palfinger Asia

Palfinger Asia Pacific has promoted James Liu to general manager, replacing Staffan Meijer who is taking up a new role at Palfinger Europe, leading the development of its sales network and organisation in the Nordic region.

Liu joined Palfinger in 2013 as finance manager, moving to his current position as director of finance and shared services in April 2015. Prior to that he spent three years with Manitowoc, initially as a finance analyst in its Crane Care division covering the Asia Pacific region. Moving up to handle this role for the Manitowoc Asia Pacific as a whole in 2012.

He began his career with energy company Leeden in 2008, becoming a senior business executive - corporate finance and business development before making the move to Manitowoc.
