Skyjacks for Roggermaier

German rental company Roggermaier has taken delivery of more than 30 Skyjack slab electric and Rough Terrain scissor lifts.

The new order includes 20ft SJIII 3220DC slab electric scissor lifts along with 26ft SJ6826 and 32ft SJ6832 compact Rough Terrain scissors. The 3220 DC has an overall length of 2.3 metres, and a platform capacity of 408kg, while the SJ6826 RT and SJ6832 RT models have a platform capacity of 567kg and 454kg respectively.

The new units joins a substantial Skyjack scissor lift fleet at Roggermaier, the company placed a 26ft SJIII 3226 DC electric scissor lift in the main display window at its headquarters to celebrate the latest order.

Director Roman Roggermaier said: “Skyjack is a really important part of our business as it is the manufacturer with the highest number of machines in our fleet. We have a range of equipment to offer, but in terms of electric and diesel scissors, Skyjack is the main supplier and so we display one of their machines prominently for our customers to see when they visit us. Skyjack’s service and support is a factor in reducing downtime of the machines to an absolute minimum. And the excellent availability of spare parts is another key factor for us choosing to keep ordering their products.”

Skyjack vice president for marketing Malcolm Early added: “Roggermaier has been a valued customer of ours for a long time, and we are pleased that they continue to invest in the latest models.”

Family run Roggermaier was established in 1983 and is based near Munich with a fleet of over 1,800 machines.
