300t Liebherr for Kavanagh

Irish crane rental company Kavanagh Crane Hire has taken delivery of a new 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 All Terrain crane.

The six axle, single-engine LTM 1300-6.2 has a seven section 78 metre main boom with a luffing jib of up to 70 metres. It is also equipped with the VarioBase outrigger set up system and ECO mode fuel saving system.

The crane is only the second LTM1300 in Ireland, and is the third unit of a four crane order that includes a 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.1 and a 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1 All Terrain cranes. Both of which have already working in the Kavanagh fleet, with a second LTM 1060-3.1 due to follow later in the year. The arrival of the new 300 tonner is the tenth Liebherr crane in the company's fleet.
