New Terex for Dewsbury

UK based crane and access specialist Dewsbury & Proud has taken delivery of a new 40 tonne Terex AC 40/2L All Terrain crane.

The two axle AC 40/2L has a 37.4 metre main boom plus an eight metre swingaway extension, for a total on board combination of 45.4 metres. It also comes equipped with a Tier 4F low-emission engine.

Managing director Tim Proud said: “The AC40/2L has the longest boom length of any two axle crane in this sector of the market. It’s also a tried and tested machine which is popular with hirers across the region in which we operate. Safety and driver comfort were also major considerations when choosing this machine.”

Regional sales manager Andrew Snow added: “I’m confident it will prove to be a much utilised asset."

Dewsbury & Proud operates from four locations in the English Midlands, with a fleet of 40 cranes ranging from a 2.8 tonne Maeda spider crane to a 130 tonne Grove GMK 5130-2 All Terrain.
