Canadian rental company Up And Down Lifting Solutions has taken delivery of three Palazzani tracked spider lifts, a 22.5 metre TZX 225, a 22.3 metre TSJ 23, and a 32 metre XTJ 32.

The electric powered TZX 225 provides an outreach of 10 metres and a platform capacity of 200kg. The hybrid TSJ 23 has an outreach of 10.3 metres and a platform capacity of 250kg, whilst the hybrid XTJ 32 has an outreach of 14.5 metres and a platform capacity of 330kg. Up And Down also specified the option of hydraulic winch to its new machines, allowing them to also operate as spider cranes.

Sales manager Jimmy Latta said: “The reliability and ease of operation were the main factors in choosing the Palazzani units. As a rental company, we need machines that are very user friendly and easy to operate. We have already had great feedback from many of our customers regarding the performance and ease of operation of these machines. Palazzani also offers a wide range of models from 17-52 metres and this was very important as we look to expand or fleet of larger machines. The option to add the hydraulic crane function to the lift was also a huge factor in selecting these machines. We have over 60 cranes in our current rental fleet and this option will provide us some very unique solutions for our clients."

Based in St Clements, Ontario, Up And Down was established in 2010 and specialises in access and lifting equipment for areas with restricted access, with the largest fleet of mini cranes and spider lifts in Canada.
