New Tadano for J&M

UK crane and haulage company J&M Crane & Transport has taken delivery of a 70 tonne Tadano ATF 70G-4 All Terrain crane.

The four axle ATF 70G-4 has a 52.1 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, providing a tip height of more than 70 metres and maximum radius of 44 metres. The crane is also fitted with outrigger length detectors and asymmetric outrigger set-up system, allowing the crane to be set up in restricted spaces.

J&M's new 70 tonne Tadano ATF70G-4

Managing director James Lawrence said: "We were in the market for a 60 tonne crane. Looking into it, the ATF 70G-4 is marginally longer but has better duties and a longer jib length. Tadano's twin engine concept was also a deciding factor, combined with their excellent service and reliability. This made going back to Tadano UK to place the order an easy decision to make.”
