Bridge bashed

A truck driver found out the hard way that he had forgotten to fold away his loader crane in Paris yesterday when the crane smashed into the railway bridge at La Porte de la Chapelle on the north east side of central Paris.

The drive was seriously injured in the smash, but no one else was affected. Amazingly the veteran bridge which is now dedicated to freight trains was not damaged.
