13 JLGs for Davys

Irish rental company Davy’s Lawnmower & Tool Hire Centre has purchased 13 new 19ft JLG 6RS slab scissor lifts.

Davy’s was founded in 2000 by David Langan, and runs a mixed access fleet which includes a full range of Bravi Lui mast type lifts, and Hinowa spider lifts. The new machines were purchased through JLG distributor Access Platform Sales, the first nine units were delivered earlier this week.

Davys Tool Hire takes delivery of the first nine JLG 6RS scissor lifts of an order for 13 units

The 6RS is a simpler ‘Rental Specification’ machine designed specifically for the rental business with passive pot hole protection and fewer frills than the manufacturer’s ES range, but still includes direct electric drive – but on the rear axle rather than the front.
