Scott Macon adds Tadano RT and ATs

Tadano America has appointed rental company Scott-Macon Equipment as a full line crane dealer for the states of Texas and Oklahoma.

The company which already runs Tadano Mantis telescopic crawler cranes, placed an order for two more units - a 120 tonne GTC-1200 and a 70 tonne 15010 – at Bauma in April. It will now add Tadano Rough Terrain and All Terrain cranes to its offering.

Scott-Macon’s senior managing director Bob Dimmit said: “Scott-Macon Equipment and Tadano have been successful partners for many years starting with the Tadano Mantis line of hydraulic telescopic crawlers. We are excited about the opportunity to formalise this representation of Tadano’s Rough Terrain and All Terrain cranes.”

Tadano general manager sales Ken Butz added: “Scott-Macon Equipment is an established crane sales and rental organisation that will solidify our strong market position in Texas and help to expand our footprint into Oklahoma. Our mutual commitment to customer service brings significant value to those markets and customers.”

Houston Texas based Scott-Macon has sold and rented cranes since 1973 and runs a fleet of Terex, Borderson, and Tadano Mantis cranes and services the Gulf Coast region of the United States.
