Four Liebherr crawlers for Topkran

Russian crane rental company Topkran has taken delivery of four new crawler cranes from Liebherr

The fourth unit, a 350 tonne LR1350/1, was delivered at the start of the month and is one of two LR 1350/1 in the order. The other cranes in the package were a 750 tonne LR 1750/1- the second in the Moscow based company’s fleet and its largest crane. The other crane was a 100 tonne LTR 1100 telescopic crawler crane.

All four have been delivered during the first half in order to cope with a busy work load, in spite of the country’s economic challenges and the weak rouble. Much of the work for these cranes is being generated by the new football stadiums for the 2018 World Cup. The latest LR 1350/1 for example, has joined the LR 1750/1 working on the new stadium in Volgograd. The Topkran fleet now includes 15 Liebherr cranes, of which 10 are crawler cranes.
