Another arborist electrocution

A man died yesterday while working at height in The Gap on the North West side of Brisbane, in Queensland, Australia.

Original reports suggested that he was using an aerial lift but we now understand that he was using abseiling and climbing equipment to reach the limbs he was removing. We also know that he was above the power lines when he received the shock.

Paramedics tried had to save his life, but he was declared dead at the scene. Over 1,200 properties lost power due to the incident according to energy company Energex.
