JLG extends service intervals

JLG has doubled the service intervals for all JLG and SkyTrak branded telehandlers in North America equipped with Cummins QSF3.8 diesel engines.

The longer recommended service intervals -1,000 hours rather than the usual 500 - is partially due to the synthetic oil used in the QSF3.8 engines. However it does not apply to the initial oil change at 500 hours, which is still required.

Brian Boeckman global product director for telehandlers said: “Extending service intervals for these telehandlers underscores our commitment to delivering products that offer a lower total cost of ownership for our customers. By increasing the period between oil changes, we are cutting in half the time customers spend changing oil, oil filters, and fuel filters while doubling the time machines are rental-ready. The result is customers who are more productive and profitable.”
