Palfinger Asia celebrates 10 years

Singapore based Palfinger Asia Pacific has celebrated its 10th anniversary late last month

The division was established set up in 2006 as a regional hub to look after distributors and major customers throughout the region, Today the business operates dealer networks across 13 countries, including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Guam, Brunei, Myanmar as well as the local market in Singapore. In addition it operates depots in Japan and Indonesia

In 2012 Palfinger concluded a regional joint venture with Sany - Sany Palfinger - to develop and manufacture cranes and platforms in China, both for the local market which Sany covers, but also for sale throughout the region which Palfinger Asia manages, this now includes a range of both articulated and telescopic loader cranes as well as vehicle mounted aerial lifts. Palfinger also produces hooklifts at its own plant in China. Over the past seven years the operation has managed a six fold increase in revenues.
