New director for Ruthmann Austria

German truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Ruthmann has promoted Nico Krekeler, 35, to its management team.

Krekeler was made a director and general manager of its Austrian sales and service business from the start of July. He will work alongside Bernd Reinisch, the long time business manager and director of Ruthmann Austria as a joint director of the company, which is based in Dobl to the south west of Graz.

Nico Krekeler

Krekeler joined Ruthmann in January 2010 as head of construction and development. He was previously with Ruhr University in Bochum where he was a research assistant in the material-handling technology department and part of a construction-machinery study group.
