New Grove RT for Peru

Peruvian contractor SSK - a Sigdo Koppers company- has taken delivery of a new 80 tonne Grove RT890E Rough Terrain crane.

The new crane features a 43.2 metre five section main boom and offers a maximum tip height of 72 metres when combined with its bi-fold swingaway extension and it can manage nine tonnes on the fully extended boom. Powered by Cummins the RT890E has the latest Grove ‘full vision’ cab with. The crane will be used in a variety of industrial construction, mining, power generation plants, ports and pipeline projects.
