Fatal fall at chemical plant

Two men died yesterday after falling from the platform of a boom truck or bucket truck in Wichita, Kansas, yesterday.

The incident occurred at a chemical plant owned by Occidental Chemical Corporation - also known as Oxy Chem - on the south west side of Wichita. The men were working for a contractor when something caused them to fall. The police report simply says that the two fell from a boom truck and were pronounced dead at the scene.
