Teupen opens UK facility

Spider lift manufacturer Teupen has formally opened its new UK facility in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

The new facility is the company’s first in the UK, having previously sold through distributors, and is a response to the increased interest in the UK market for specialist access equipment, such as spider lifts. The new location features a warehouse, yard and office which will allow for equipment demonstrations from an inventory of its Leo spider lift range. The new facility will also be the centre for UK product support and training and will be managed by UK regional sales director Craig Rooke who will now be joined by a team of technical sales specialists.

The new facility is the company’s first in the UK having previously sold through distributors

Maintenance of all Teupen platforms will be provided by the company’s service provider Alfa-Access Services having recently signed an exclusive agreement.

Rooke said: "We are now able to solve customers' problems on site, carry out training and to hold demos. The support of our service partner by parts, training and technical expertise is quick and un-bureaucratic as needed. All solutions are tailored and customised within a short time to meet the needs in the UK. Being physically a part of the UK market strengthens our footprint significantly.”
