50t National for Crane Services

U.S based rental company Crane Services has taken delivery of a new 50 tonne National Crane NBT55 truck crane.

The new five axle crane, purchased from Wisconsin-based Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, features a 39 metre boom and additional eight to 13 metre telescopic swing away extension. It will go straight to work on residential and commercial projects throughout Wisconsin, such as steel erection and the installation of air conditioning units.

Crane Services president Rick Mueller said: “The NBT55 is extremely stable during use throughout its entire load chart. It delivers great capacities like a truck crane, but it also has the comfort and highway speed of a commercial truck when out on the road. The machine’s very smooth controls and rock solid operation drew us to purchase”.

Based in Appleton, Wisconsin, Crane Services was founded in 2000 and runs a fleet of seven National Cranes.
