Skanska buys Rami tower cranes

Ramirent and Skanska Maskin have signed a new five year co-operation agreement which will see Ramirent selling all of its larger tower cranes based in Sweden to Skanska Maskin. The cranes will join the Skanska fleet and be available for Rami to re-rent. No details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Ramirent chief executive Magnus Rosén said: “We are very happy that Skanska Maskin has chosen to expand and prolong its agreement with Ramirent in Sweden. Our cooperation started in 2014 and has now further deepened, allowing us to provide a higher level of service and meet our customers’ needs without having to compromise on quality or safety”.

Henrik Johansson managing director at Skanska Maskin added: “With this cooperation we want to secure flexible access to equipment and increase efficiency in our construction projects”.
