Steve Watts moves to Haulotte

Haulotte North America has appointed Steve Watts as vice president of sales, he joins the company after more than five years with Snorkel.

Watts will be based at Haulotte’s new facility in Virginia Beach, and will report directly to general manager Claude Fuger.

Steve Watts

Watts joined Snorkel in 2011 as vice president distribution and then in 2012 was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas. Before that he spent over five years with mini-excavator manufacturer Takeuchi, where he was responsible for establishing its dealer network across North America.

He spent most of his career though with Snorkel when it was owned by Figge and then Ominquip, and held senior roles within both parent companies. He started off in the Essick division of Figge in 1985.

Fuger said: “I have no doubt that Steve’s extensive experience and impressive resume of establishing and developing strong customer relationships in our industry will make him a great leader for our sales team and a strong asset for our ambitions”.
