Terex truck crane for Bigg

US based recovery service Michael Bigg has taken delivery of a new 73 tonne Terex T780 truck crane.

The new four axle crane, purchased through local dealer Empire Cranes, features a 38.3 metre four section main boom and a maximum tip height of 57 metres with the 9.75 to 17.4 metre telescopic swingaway extension. The crane can travel at road speeds of up to 65 mph. The new crane was the third unit ordered through Empire’s Chet Zerrillo, who passed away in Mid May.

The Terex 73 tonne T780 truck crane for Bigg


Based in New York, Michael Bigg has provided recovery and vehicle servicing since 1942 and runs an extensive fleet of heavy trailers, trucks, and lifting equipment.
Luke Lonergan of Empire Cranes said: “The new Terex T780 will prove to the perfect crane for the company’s 24 hour demand of their business.”
